This is your space to put your goals for the use of ICT in teaching and learning. You can give everyone updates on how you are going throughout the year. At the end of the year, you can upload a short presentation showing the results of your work to this page. Have fun with this space!

Goodmorning, goodmorning, goodmorning!! Well, here we are -a day out of the classroom and sat in front of a computer.

My goal for the year: To use Photostory with my class (Year 2). I am having a session with Suzy next Monday morning, so I'll be able to report on my progress & achievements in my next wiki.

21/4 Hi Janet! I enjoyed working with you and your class on PhotoStory 3. I am impressed at how quickly you have picked it up and begun to use it both for yourself personally and with your class. It would be great if you could put an update here on how you have found the process and what ways you have found to use PhotoStory 3 within your classroom. I have a page about PhotoStory 3 on my wiki which might prove useful to you for other ideas. Keep up the great work.

May: Just a quick check-in: My class have all successfully done a photo story -in pairs, about our beach trip. They really enjoyed having the opportunity to choose their own photos & story lines. Many parent have been in to view their creations, & have been suitable impressed.
I have to thank my TA -Karnabie, for her help in getting through all the children - 2 hands made light work of the task.

July: The day after the ICT Conference! What a neat day -good spearkers & 2 useful workshops -not for the classroom, but great personal development ( Say it with flowers, & Andy Warhol). Pity about the heating in the Hall:-( Great to see all the Junior Display boards -aren't we all doing well!! Good to use Art Rage in the classroom -good mouse skills for the children to learn, & good results. Used them as a PowerPoint presentation & as a heading for children to write a description of their icon. Parents enjoyed viewing the PowerPoint.

Hi Janet- great to hear you enjoyed the EXPO. You will get a chance to give us feedback soon. Is there anything you think you will try/implement as a result of the EXPO? Nigel Frater, Korokoro School
